How our Drive Thru works:
Our season will kick-off in the final days of May and typically runs through the end of July
All of our fruit is certified organic
As varieties become available, we will do 2 things:
1) Update the Shop where you can order for pick-up at our Drive Thru Thursday evenings or Sunday mornings (specific time/date for pick-up will be detailed in the purchase process. Sorry, we are not able to accommodate requests for alternate pick-up times/dates).
2) Send an e-mail to everyone on our Drive Thru Club list as soon as new fruit become available. Sign-up for our Drive thru e-mail list above.
What do you do?
As we post available fruit in the Shop, if you find fruit and a date/time that works for you to come to our Drive Thru, order your boxes and come on down during the pick-up window! It’s as easy as that!
Most varieties of fruit will come in two case types (but we can’t guarantee which style will be packed for particular dates): OUFab and Practically Perfect.
OUFab means "Organic, Ugly, and Fabulous", which really just means these fruits may have minor imperfections, are either too small or too large, are not quite ripe or misshapen, or have a small bruise. OUFab boxes are larger (approximately 8.5-11 pounds of fruit depending on the variety, for apricots more like 7 pounds) and perfect for things like jams, pie fillings, or just snacking at home.
We will also offer our "Practically Perfect" fruit which is a smaller quantity of fruit, but is pristine and the highest quality (and also certified organic). This box will be slightly smaller (about 5 pounds for peaches and nectarines, about 3.5-4 pounds for apricots) and we will fill the box with pristine fruit. These "Practically Perfect" fruits are more consistent in maturity, without visual imperfections, and are ideal for gifting, or to use on a stunning summer fruit platter.

History of Drive Thru:
For many years, two things pained us: giving away or composting some of our best fruit because it was ‘ugly’ and didn’t meet USDA standards for fresh fruit sales AND the fact that it was difficult for local folks to find our fruit. In 2014, we were inspired by the “Ugly Fruit” movement and we created the first iteration of the Drive Thru program. We called it “Organic, Ugly & Fabulous!” or “O, U Fab!”
Since then, we have expanded our occasional Drive Thrus that only offered OUFab fruit to now offering 2 Drive Thrus every week throughout our season. All Drive Thrus are pre-order and pre-pay online. You can now pick between a larger box of OUFab fruit or a ‘Practically Perfect’ smaller box. Net weight of boxes vary depending on variety, for peaches and nectarines, OUFab boxes range from about 8-11 pounds of fruit and the Practically Perfect boxes range from 3-6 pounds of fruit.
