Welcome!
The
Masumoto Family Farm is a beginning place. We are home to Certified Organic
peaches, nectarines, and grapes (for raisins). Every year we share the
fruit from our 80 acre farm south of Fresno with the hopes of bringing
something good into the world. We are a real working farm: our muscles
often ache, we plead with the weather gods, and we know the meaning of
luck and loss. We are trying to grow more than produce. David Mas Masumoto
is a third generation Japanese American artist farmer; he captures the
stories of family and the land through "literary
farming." His parents, wife (Marcy), and children (Nikiko & Korio)
are integral to the farm. Annually we host an Elberta
Peach Tree Adoption program in hopes of educating others about the
joy of heirloom produce and the realities of organic farming. Through our
work, we hope to create memories that convey the possibility and power
of healthy bodies, a sustainable world, and shared stories.
We invite you to learn more about who we are and what we do. Check out our different "farms" in the links below!
